Dear Community,

i´ve got a full turbine CAD geometry. In case of create a mesh soon, i need the shroud, hub, inlet and outlet. For this i have to create the flow path.

Im kinda new this community. But in first step i wanted to revolve one given surface on each side of the blade and extrude the inlet and outlet.

Or what is the best way create these surfaces?

Dear community,

i solved my problem and creates the sketches for hub, shroud, inlet and outlet. The next step was to create the flowpath. I created the sketches and took them as hub, ...

Anyway i get an error for creating the flowpath, but i dont know what to do with that fault.

Its something like, that "The placement of the meridian surface isnt correct."

I have tried many different ways to create the sketches in different axes.

I hope u can help me there.

I solved the problem with the surfaces and took antoher one and it worked.

Anyway i got a new problem. After creating the flowpath and exporting the points to turbogrid, i get a new blade with an literally huge edge in it. Pictures are below.

What can be reasons for that? I chose the right blade surface in desgin modeler.

Problem solved. Just created the full geometry in turbogrid. Needed to invent 4 layers along the surface of the blade in the flowpath feature.
Far likes this.
