Parametric Model with Design Modeler and ICEM

Hi everyone,
I've been silently reading on this forum for a while now and I have to thank you for all your support so far. Now I myself have a problem, for that I can't seem to find the solution: I am modelling a axisymmetric flow through a cavity between a rotor and a stator. The geometry is fairly simple and completely symmetric. Therefore I modeled the cavity in the Design Modeler and defined parameters for the Geometry (e.g. Diameter, width, Extrusion angle etc.) and meshed it in ICEM. When I only do small changes to certain parameters, my model seems to work just fine. The association of the blocking in ICEM works perfectly. But if I change a parameter drastically, the diameter for example, ICEM seems to confuse the association of the geometry. This results in a completely unusable mesh. As I Previously mentioned, my geometry is simple and nothings changes but the dimensions of the Geometry itself, so the total amount of vertices, edges etc. stays the same. So my question ist: What do I have to do to make my model truly parametric, even with big parameter changes? Kind regards, Maurice |
