Hello all,
I am currently involved in hybrid meshing for an assembly problem for which there are some faces where I need one to one match of nodes or conformal meshing but the problem I am facing is that the blocking mesh contains boundary layer on one side of the face and other side is the normal octree mesh without any boundary layer. Example of it are shown in the images. My problem is when I try this face to merge with merge nodes option in ICEM it always gives an error and exits automatically. It would be helpful if anyone can tell me is it possible to merge such type of different mesh elements if so where I am going wrong in the process or is there anything I should do before merging the nodes ?? Thank you |
