Low is on a distinguished road
Hello Ansys forum users and happy new year,

I am currently working on my bachelor thesis with emphasis on FE-Analysis of a prosthetic socket. The model i have to analyze comes from a scanned .STL file of a prosthetic socket. I already managed to convert the .STL file to a solid body using FreeCad. The model still consists of many (ca. 40.000) triangular elements. Therefore I cant work with the model as it is right now. Is it possible, to connect all the elements automatically using spaceclaim or design modeler? Or is it even possible to mesh and analyze the model properly as it is (consisting of 40.000 or more elements/faces).

Thank you in advance and greetings

Alex
