Hello,

I am trying to do a 3D mesh of a single axial compressor blade, which is highly twisted and tapered from hub to tip.

However, I am not satisfied with the quality of the mesh and need your suggestion on how to improve it.

1. One thing to note is that the blade is having a large (negative) angle of attack (assuming the air is flowing from left to right, horizontally) >>> from my current meshing strategy, gives me sharp-edged elements around the leading and trailing edges. What would be a better strategy to avoid such sharp elements?

2. I managed to get a nicely mapped mesh around the blade surfaces, however, the internal elements are of low quality, especially around the leading and trailing edge. How can I improve this?

Why don't you smooth your mesh? Try Laplacian method, and quality will improve significantly.
