Hello everyone, I have a problem with the quality of the mesh.
I am studying a helical pipe inside a vessel with liquid and air. At the interface between the liquid and the air in the area near the pipe I have an area that despite all the efforts made, the quality of the mesh is terrible. In the images you can what I mean. I have tried to exaggerately decrease the size of the element or work with sphere of influence in that small region, but it has not worked. Has someone faced a similar problem or has any idea how to resolve this issue? Thanks |

There is no way you can get a nice mesh in such a region. As long as there is a sharp angle, the mesh will be horrible.
You have to change the geometry. It is best to place a large fillet or similar where the faces make a small angle. Such that you get rid of the small angle. |
