Hi all,
I'm very new to DesignModeler and I encountered a problem shown in the attached picture. I export the CAD file as *.sat file, then import this 2D geometry to DesignModeler. When I select edges, I found some circles are complete while some others are incomplete, only a small part of the circle. I'm pretty sure these circles are same in CAD and have no idea why this strange edge appears. If I process to mesh, these edges remain incomplete. Since I need to assign different boundary condition to different circles, I'm also worried that the boundary condition could be incomplete. Anyone have encountered this problems before? Thanks in advance! |

Hi,
suggestions: 1. try to delete the edge in space claim 2. try use other cad file format 3. it is better to design this simple 2D model in space claim itself Thanks... |

Thanks for your reply! I will try to do it with Spaceclaim. Thank you.
