Hi,
I want to create a hybrid mesh in my model. The model is a furnace as follows: This model have 4 rotation zones and one stationary zone. Firstly, i generated mesh in the stationary zone as follows: Block mesh without mentioned rotation zones: I can explain mesh process as follows: 1. creating material point around the mentioned zone and generating unstructured mesh in that. please see the following picture: 2. closing mesh 3. creating material point at inside zone and generating block mesh. please see the following picture: 4. open unstructured mesh But when I import generated mesh file in Ansys Fluent, I have only unstructured mesh in Fluent. Why does this happen? I am grateful that guide me in this case. Thanks. |

I solved the problem. I didin't use "covert to unstructured"!!!!!
But there is one other problem and is that structured zone has a wall surface. This wall is caused by curves that I created them because I want to associate edges to curves until I generate block mesh. How can solve this problem? |
