Hello!
I have been working with ICEM CFD for meshing Rail profile with a enclosure.
I have come across a problem : When I mesh rail and enclosure separately as two parts in ICEM CFD the mesh files sometimes does not get save properly and when I transfer those files to modal or tansient analysis my rail mesh does not appear properly. Due to this I am having problems importing external loads to the rail profile. I have noticed the mesh file size change as I try to save them multiple times.
Another issue is : I pre-mesh the rail initially applying all the no of node to it. Then I mesh the enclosure applying all the nodal constrains to it. but at the last step when I pre-mesh the entire model I lose the constrains I provided to the rail and I end up giving the no of nodes again to each edge.
