Hello everyone! I've been trying to mesh this geometry and I'm having a few problems. It seems pretty straight forward but I'm having trouble at the S-duct.
The thickness (green part) doesn't continue all the way around and I get bad elements at the point where it gets cut off. What I've tried to do is use 2 o-grids. One run down the bell mouth pipe and defined the thickness of the S-duct (as a solid) and the other was used to define the larger bell mouth pipe. However, since the bottom blocks of the o-grid are deleted at the S-duct, it produces bad elements at the interface of the S-duct and pipe. I can delete the bottom block on the ramp too but it messes up at the point where the ramp starts. I've attached the geometry and the blocking. I can provide more information too. Any help/ideas will be appreciated. Thank you!! |
