Hi,
I have generated a mesh and tried to export it to CGNS format in ANSYS meshing but the process is extremely slow. It contains 5M elements and the exporting has been going on for 3 hrs and still not done. I wonder if this is normal. Thanks, Renold |

It took 5 hr to generate the CGNS file finally. Then I delete the node merge group command and re-generated the CGNS file and it took only 5 min. The same situation happens when I translated it into Fluent format. Is there a way to speed up the mesh translation process with node merge group? I merge the nodes because there are many identical bodies and I meshed them by CAD instances.
