Dear All,
I am new to Ansys Design Modeler (DM). I have imported a step file into DM from Catia. It is comprised of a closed outer domain and a airplane full model. However, DM only identifies surface bodies and not 3-D body. AFAIK, we need 3-D body for grid later in Ansys Meshing. I should mention that both plane and domain are enclosed surfaces. The question is, how can I generate a 3-D body using the existing surfaces, to create a symmetry plane in DM? I have realized that the symmetry command works on a 3-D body only. I would appreciate any help. Thanks, syavash |
