[ANSYS Meshing] Meshing an actuator disk -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Adithya_11 Member Adithya Join Date: May 2021 Posts: 73 Rep Power: 4	Hello I am meshing an airplane for further CFD studies in Fluent. It has an actuator disk (fan boundary condition) situated in front of the fuselage. Could somebody please tell me how to create a mesh for this? Do I define a surface for the disk? Do I define a cylinder and then boolean subtract it to create my disk?
