Hello I have a twin screw combustion chamber and for the bottom face i need to split them so that i can give different boundary condition to the different selection. It falls on the same plane and the best way in my eyes so far is if i can split the geometry into multiple equal blocks i can set the boundary condition differently.
Is there any way of doing this please? I have attached the geometry snapshot and highligted the bottom plane/face to split. Please if any one can help me out it will be highly appreciated. |

Use slice, first make planes on where you want to split and slice on the planes

Hello thank you very much for the reply. I tried doing what you asked but for some reason i couldnt manage.. however i got an alternative route by drawing a line on the plane and using the project tool on the plane there by separating the plane in separate sections for selection.
I guess many ways to do same thing. Last edited by Shaheer; August 17, 2015 at 08:48. |
