Hi, all,
I am confused by the control volume. The node generated in ICEM CFD is the node of control volume? If so, the control surfaces are invisible, right? Thanks for any help. Rikio |

You mean the control volume which is created by the cfx-solver? This is different from the ICEM one.

Really? I create a volume around a specified node in CFX-Post, there are eight meshes included. And the eight aligned well with the mesh lines.
Could you please show me the control volume in CFX-Solver? Thank you very much, Adam. |

The volume you see in post is the same as in ICEM. But the solver generates its own control volume for calculation, see documentation.

Thank you, Adam.
I think I am right after referring to documentation. Node is the center of the control volume, and control surfaces in solver are not mesh surfaces in ICEM. ^_^ |
