pointwise import to fluent -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

gravxp New Member gee Join Date: Apr 2010 Posts: 2 Rep Power: 0	I wanted to ask if anyone has had experience with a problem I am having with importing a .cas file generated in pointwise to fluent. The grid configration allows some mirroring of elements but I find that when I mirror elements as apposed to build the whole grid from scratch, fluent comes with an error 'no face for the given nodes'. If I build the whole mesh from scratch, there are no problems importing the mesh. would like to know why this is the case. thanks in advance
