I am trying to go through the process of meshing a wing of complex shape (pictures are attached). I import the geometry from Solidworks as a .igs file and set up a spherical volume around the wing. Then, I go to subtract the wing volume from the spherical volume and it fails to complete, giving me an error that states "encountered invalid intcurve without spline approximation". If you could please help me solve this, it would be greatly appreciated! See the attached pictures for an idea of what i'm working with
PS: I tried importing as a parasolid file and it fails to complete too Thank you racerdude777 |

Try to export your geometry as STEP and reimport it into Gambit
If it also failed try to increase the accuracy of your cad (if you can) Picture 2 shows weird surfaces
