Hi everybody!!
as told in previous post i am an absolut beginner in cfd simulation. Some time ago I used to create geometry and to mesh with gambit and i remember that in a top-down approah, one was able to draw directly a cylinder or a cube and then merge them or intersect them ,instead of using the classical approach starting from points, then curves, surfaces and finally volumes.
I am looking for this feature also in icem cfd or in some related software included in ansys, is there this possibility?? may someone give me some hints to fix it up?
Thank you in advance!

search the forum with "top down approach" and this has already been explained in great detail by PYSMN. You can find this in create block tab

mmm I have already looking for it, but i have found only one post about top down approach in which honestly i wasn't able to figure it out!
May be i haven't explained enough what i meant: i was dealing with "ready geomtrical components", i mean, in gambit u have the opportunity to build sphere, cones, cube only declaring some geometrical features like radius os else.
how can i do this in icem?
