I have spent a great deal of time trying to set up bounday conditions in ICEM for my flow domain. I have a hex mesh ready to be exported to CFX-Pre. However, I do not seem to be able to set up boundary conditions in the Family boundary conditions window. Whenever I try to "select a BC type", I get an error message telling me that I have not selected a valid type. Are there types specific to CFX-Pre? The ones I am assigning are inlet, outlet, wall, and sub-domain.
I would appreciate it if anyone could shed some light on the subject. This seems rudimentary, but I could not find anything useful in the ICEm user manual. Many thanks! |
