free surface flow

Hello all!
I'm new in icem. May be my problem is trivial. I try to simulate the flow past the vessel in OpenFOAM. I need to get a good resolution of the grid near the interface between air and water. I created free surface plane and split the volume to two parts above free surface and low. . I produced unstructured mesh. But I've got a lot of bad quality elements in intersection of hull and free surface plane. Is it possible to edit them? What way is preferable?. Last edited by Svensson; March 29, 2012 at 05:34. |
