Hi everybody!
I´ve become a member of cfd-online because I´ve started a new job and the´ve asked me to obtain a laser cladding process simulation for a blisk airfoil. I´ve started to learn how to use Ansys (I learnt a little bit APDL at the university) and I think I am ready now more or less. The thing is that they prefer to use Workbench than APDL. And to simulate the cladding I think that I need a moving heat source in wich all the deposition elements are killed and "revived" at each time step. I´ve tried this writting a code for APDL and it works. But I´m not able to get it for Workbench. I have read that I can add an APDL command order in Ansys Mechanichal buth I don´t know how to add the loop in the transient thermal... So the questions are: 1. Does anybody know if it is possible to simulate a laser cladding process (which means moving heat source and birth death elements) in Workbench? 2. If it was possible...how? Thank you very much in advance for your help! |

Hi....This is pavan Kumar ,doing mtech in engineering design.I am doing a laser welding of dissimilar metals using a semiconductor diode laser up to 3 kW power in ARCI,hyderabad . I am writing APDL code also, but there is some problem with code.kindly Can you help me with the code.Iam trying with work bench also.If we crack the simulation with work bench.surely I wil help you
thankyou Email id:chellupavankumar@gmail.com |
