Hi all,
I have a problem with workbench when i want to calculate the stresses in a flexure. The flexure is 7cm long, 2,5cm width and 0.1 mm thick. It is under an angle of 53 degrees with the horizontal axis. on the top right end a force of 0.35N works downwards. The bottom left end is constraint. Structural steel was used and large deflection was turned on. When i try to model this in ansys it gives me a stress of 350MPa working in the material. In my opinion this can't be right since im more than able to just bend the material in real time without it being deformed. Is there anything i am doing worng or forgot to add in my model? I hope someone will be able to help me! Sergio |
