Hi,

I'm using ANSYS workbench and I want to simulate heat transfer into a cryogenic system. The heat transfer I want to simulate is made of a cylinder current lead made of copper. The current lead has two ends: one is in the outside world (300 K) and one is in the cryogenic system touching the cryo-cooler head (70 K) with 20 W. In addition, current is flowing in it.
I want to simulate the heat transfer that is caused due to difference in temp from the outside and due to the joule heat that is generated from current flowing in the cylindrical current lead.
I'm having trouble simulating the cryo-cooler head. Would love to get some help. The all idea is that is that if enough heat will transfer in the current lead then the temperature in the cryo-cooler head wont be 70 K, but more (according to T(P) of the cryo-cooler).
