nickg54 is on a distinguished road

I have the following problem. I have a geometry in ANSYS and i built a surface to cover it externally in Solidworks. The surface is connected to the geometry at some points. I import my surface to ANSYS as a parasolid file and then I want to connect the external surface to my geometry, but Tools->Merge does not work at all.
Any ideas on how it should be done?
Thank you very much!
