madman1556 New Member Join Date: Mar 2017 Posts: 1 Rep Power: 0	Hello, I'm trying to simulate a set of spur gears (see figures). To save some computation time I wanted to use the cyclic region symmetry. But when I now want to add the moment loading condition, I encounter some problems: First the Geometry selection is not possible anymore So I added a remote point, where I used the surface as geometry, but I'm not able to select that remote point for applying the moment. Some figures to state the problem:Definition_Remote_point.jpg Can't_select_point1.jpg Has anyone encountered the same problem or know how to solve this? Thanks in advance (I'm using ansys 17.2)
