Hi All,
I am trying to analyze the deformation of a structure under residual stress of the top layer. I am using static model. I dont want to apply any external force load to my structure except for the residual stress of the top layer.
I know using INSTATE command (workbench 18) I can define the initial stress. But, I am not sure how to use the command.

Should I insert this command under the static structure and then read the command under the solution?

Thanks
