Hi everyone.
First of all, I'm sorry if there's already a thread with this kinda of question. There's a lot of threads, I couldn't read them all. So, I'm having a hard time with ansys here. I'm trying to simulate a simple bi-supported square beam and the contact region is not very well set. The default setting is "bonded", but I'm pretty sure it's "frictionless" (I guess), but it's still not working. The software keeps showing me the following messages: > "Contact status has experienced an abrupt change. Check results (I did) carefully for possible contact separation; > "Solver pivot warnings or errors have been encountered during the solution. This is usually a result of an ill conditioned matrix possibly due to unreasonable material properties, an under constrained model, or contact related issues. Check results carefully. So, here's what I did -> I changed from "bonded" to "frictionless", but there's still a whole lot of things that I don't know if I should change or not. The thing is that it seems like a really simple problem. I'm a begginer. So if you guys could please help, that would be great. =) |
