Error: Operation would result in non-manifold bodies

Hi guys, I am fairly new to using ANSYS and Workbench.

I am currently using ANSYS Workbench 18.2 and doing static analysis on an involute spur gear. I have designed my own gear and trying to translate my 2-D model so that it can represent two gears in mesh.

However when i perform translate, I get the error message saying "Operatioin would result in non-manifold boides". I have attached a photo of the error. Can anyone help me out please?
