Hey,

I am new to the hydrodynamic diffraction workbench. I have a project where I need to analyze the hydrodynamics of a floating structure. I have imported the geometry (STP file) and sliced the diffracted and non-diffracted parts. But when I open the modeler, it gives an error saying that "Solid bodies are not permitted in an AQWA analysis. Body has been suppressed.

I have tried a lot of different methods to get it done, but it doesn't work. I have tried it in ANSYS 16 normal version and ANSYS 19 academic version. I can't even find a reference to this error anywhere in the internet. Please help me.

I have attached screenshots of the errors.

Thanks in advance.

Regards
