Dear Icepak users,
I wonder how detailed product library Icepak has. Would you please share any screenshots about libraries below; -Thermoelectric coolers (Melcor and Marlow TECs) -Packages (BGA, FPBGA and TBGA) -Filters -Heatsinks -Fans Thank you. |

By library you mean actual vendor parts ? Never use that !
Icepak has macros that can be used to create everything you mentioned. Simply take the datasheet of your part and input a couple of parameters in the macro in order to generate the corresponding model. Icepak include some vendor parts (especially fans) but I would not rely on it because there is very little chance you find an exact match and there is no guarantee that the parameters are correct. In the industry only the datasheet can be trusted and it is not uncommon for the vendors to update their datasheets so there is 90% chance that you would have to manually update the model anyway. |
