hello everybody,
in an homework regarding CFX I'm asked the following: Laminar incompressible flow is modeled in a problem where an additional physical scalar φ should obey following equation: φ'_t = Γ(φ''_x+ φ''_y+ φ''_z) possible replies: • It is possible to implement the model using CFX if Γ=Γ(x,y,z) • It is possible to implement the model using CFX only if Γ is constant • It is not possible to implement the model in CFX I think first one is the right answer, I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be possible to implement a variable Γ in space, but probably the easiest solution is the wrong one ;-) Maybe some of you with more experience in CFX can give me reason of this limitation (if the right answer is not the first). beest regards |
