Hello,
I'm trying to simulate a gasoline modified engine, in order to work with H2 gas in AVL FIRE Workflow Manager. The H2 gas is injected in the intake port where the original gasoline inyector was (modified injector). I don't know how to manage it to inject the H2 gas in the simulation tree. I have done some tries with the following methods. 1. Standard gasoline method with spray and wallfilm, changing spray to "gas jet" in "nozzle submodels" and changing initial condition fuel to "Hydrogen". Also fluid properties in spray set to "Hydrogen". 2. Removing the spray and just setting the intake H2 gas flow in the injector boundary condition as a mass flow. H2 only defined in the initial conditions. Air is the only fluid set at fluid properties. 3. Using multhiphase module and setting another fuid, hydrogen, introducing it as a massflow in the injector. Should I use any module that I'm not using? May I define a new fluid to use H2 gas? I would really thank some advice for this task. If someone has worked with a similar gas injected simulation and wants to share the knowledge I would really thank it. Regards. |
