Some time age we discussed various ways of creating table-of-content links to articles in certain specific subject areas. I have started to experiment with a table-of-content template for all turbulence modeling articles. You can see an example of how it looks in this artcile for example:
Baldwin-Lomax model The table of content is not finished yet, but it gives a feeling for how it will look. What do you think about this? Should I continue to add this type of navigational tools to other pages also? |

Absolutely!
I should get back to editing/contributing very soon. I'll probably give you a hand in this. If you have some guidelines it would be good if you post them. |

I'm glad that you like this type of table of contents. There are many different ways to create a table of contents. The way I used here was to create a table-of-content section in the top right corner of the page. Other ways can be used to create similar table-of-contents either as a link menu at the top of the page or at the bottom. To create a top-right side table-of-content you do:
1. Create a template for the TOC by writing its name in the search field and then create the page. I made an example of a template TOC called Template:Sandbox table of content. 2. Fill in the TOC heading, subheadings, links, and, if needed also subsubheadings according to the Template:Sandbox table of content example. If you prefer it you can instead of the "infobox bordered" class just use "infobox" 3. Include the TOC template in the relevant pages by writing <nowiki>{{Sandbox table of content}}</nowiki> at the top of the articles. I made an example of including the sample TOC in CFD-Wiki:Sandbox |

I think it looks pretty good - and will be a great help in making the wiki easier to navigate.

I'm glad that you like it. I will slowly try to add this type of menus to the sections I work with.
