I am currently running a simulation with only one inlet and one outlet. I am getting kind of wonky data in the sense that the mass flow rate at the outlet is 45% less than that at the inlet. Is there a good reason that this should happen?

ABOUT MY SYSTEM:

Inlet --->Pipe ---> Smaller Diameter Pipe ---->Original Diameter Pipe----> Split in the system ---> recombine pipe ----> outlet

the split in the system is basically two pipes with equal diameter that form a circle. water goes in, splits, and then rejoins at the opposite side of the circle.

The only reason can be that it hasn't converged
How do the mass imbalances look like?
