Hi, Everyone
I'm a new user of CFX. Please, explain me how can I create a Point Source in Porous Domain for my case. Helium (He) flows in porous domain for Wz=1m\s and T=350K. It's OK. I should create a source of additional He with G=5e-3 kg/s moving straight to Oz (0,0,1) with T=500K. In CFX I should enter G[kg\s], T[K], parameters of turbulence (k and e) and components of velosity (Vx, Vy, Vz). But I know only G and T. How I have to fing out others parameters? Thanks. Sorry for my English |

The velocity is to define an initial velcoity for the stuff "created" in the source point. If it does not have a coherent velocity then just leave this as zero. Likewise the turbulence parameters are the initial condition of the created "stuff". You will need to define a sensible value for this (if you do not know realistic values). You can use 0 for k if you like, but you need to have a finite value for e as zero will cause a singularity.
