Hello,
I am simulating the Euler-Lagrange particle transport in a cyclon. For particle distribution we use the Rosin Rammler distribution. To check that the distribution is correct we used the particle histogramm in CFX 14.5. Therefore we used the accumulate and normalize option on the inlet (injection). But unfortunatly the distribution is not equal the Rosin Rammler distribution :-(. In the end we want to calculate the collection efficiency for different particle sizes. At the moment we do not know if the Rosin Rammler is not implemented correctly or the histogramm function is not ok. Did anybody encounter a simialr problem and knows a way around? Thanks |
