In a "2D simulation" how important is it to achieve satisfactory convergence in the linear solver for the W component of the momentum equation?

In the linear solver if I have an "ok" for the w momentum (as apposed to OK) is this acceptable? Will there be any knock on effects to the u and v components which are more important?

(When you read the momentum equations you can see u, v and w are clearly intertwined! But is the w component able to significantly effect the result if the domain is only one cell thick in the w direction!)

It is not very important to get the linear solver to converge on w. So if you have "ok" rather than "OK" then I would not be concerned.
