Daniel Frederik is on a distinguished road
Hi everybody,

I would like to plot a particle track using cfx. Unfortunately the documentation is very poor about it. It says:

"In ANSYS CFX, particle tracking information is written to the results file. The parameters are set in the pre-processor."

Could anybody tell me where these parameters have to be set in cfx preprocessor. Because until now the option of reading it out of a resultsfile doesnt exist in post, only the loding of a trackfile.

I appreciate any help.

I do not understand what you are asking, and the documentation seems clear enough to me.

Have you done the tutorials? Several of them use particle tracks so they show you how to set them up and how to visualise them.
