Iggy_LR is on a distinguished road
Hello ,

my name is Christian and this is my first post in this forum.

I have the following question. The topic i am currently working on involves mixing a resin and hardener system through cavitation. During my research i found this link https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Ans....html#i1307259

which states that in ANSYS there is no viscosity term in the Rayleigh Plesset equation. When you search for the rayleigh plesset model you generally have a term that involves the viscosity.

Now my question to you who maybe are more familiar with cavitation in ANSYS. Is there a reason the viscosity is left out in the ANSYS model? Or is the link i found just incorrect in it's assumptions?

Kind Regards,
Christian

I think you will find the viscosity term is negligible for most cases, that is why it is not in there. If you want to include it you will have to do your own cavitation model to include it.
