Hi,
I am doing large transient simulations (10k + timesteps) and was wondering if it was possible to get the solver to calculate some values and export them for every timestep? I am doing multiphase simulations and want the solver to export the volume fraction of one of the phases in the default domain for each timestep. I want to use the data to plot volume fraction against time, I am now doing this in CFX-post but it takes forever to calculate (1 hour ++++). If it was possible to get the solver to just write the values to a csv file or something that would be great. Also, is it possible to set stop criteria for the simulations? So that the solver runs until the volume fraction of a phase is less than a given value? Thanks for the help |

This is very easy - just use a monitor point defined with a CEL expression. volumeInt(Phase1.vf)@domain or something like that.
Stop criteria - have a look at termination criteria in the CFX documentation. |
