possible efficiency improvement

Hi to all!
I'd like to improve turbomachine blades design, e.g. axial compressor to get efficiency higher. How can I estimate such possibility before cfx calculations and using design explorer? Any relatively simple approximate treatment? |

It sounds like you need to do some reading on turbomachinery design so you can understand the maximum possible efficiencies and other parameters for a blade design.
A textbook like "Fluid Mechanics and the Thermodynamics of Turbomachinery" by Dixon is what you are looking for. |
