Hi!

I am trying to simulate the combustion process in a small boiler.
I have multiple inlets for fuel and a few more for the combustion air, one outlet and a few wall where heat is transferred out of the domain.

I would like to do a heat balance check, where I would like to show how much heat is flowing through the walls, out of the domain through the outlet and how much is it being generated by reactions.

I am using cfx, with EDM and P1 radiation model. I know there is a summary on H-energy and I-radiation at the end of the solver out file, but I dont know what units those numbers are or what they represent.

Help kindly appreciated!

are you using CFX-post? using the CEL Language you can type for example:
massFlowInt(Static Entalphy)@INLET
or
areaInt(Wall Heat Flux)@WALLS
to evaluate rapidly the power fluxes you need.
I can't help you on the p1 modelling.
