Hello everyone!

I have added a new material into the engineering data in ansys workbench but it doesn't appear in the CFX-pre when I manage the set ups and I don't know how to import it to my simulation!

Thanks.

I dont think that is posible:

You must make a material vithin cfx-pre
or import it as CCL file

I dont know were did you even find engineering data in cfx tree ?
because there is none

Actually it was not in the CFX tree, I used the one from the toolbox in the workbench.

Anyway, when I save the new material as an engineering source, it can only be saved (.xml). Can you tell me how can I save as CCL file?

leave the engineering data alone it has nothing to do vith cfx

create the material inside cfx pre

Actually I want to add a nanofluid with properties that vary with temperature..and adding a material inside the cfx-pre doesn't allow me to do so unless I have some certain formulas.. Am I wrong?

Yes temperature dependant properties are posible in cfx by inserting an expresion vhich is temperature dependant, a lot more is posible also.

You can make it like this:

create user function, create a table of properties

make an expresion vhich calls your userfunction(T)

insert this expresion as a material property
