YOUNS is on a distinguished road
Hello

I'm doing analysis for centrifugal compressor.
so Impeller made using bladegen and turbogrid
and Scroll(Volute) made using geometry and mesh.
after there was connected one cfx for analysis and used turbo mode.
Here, however I have a problem.

My warning message is like this.
Cannot create interface between regions Inlet 2(Scroll Inlet) and OUTBlock
OUTFLOW(outlet domain at Impeller, this defined in turbogrid) as they are
not aligned.
This may be caused by an invalid component order. The current
component order is S1, R1, S2, S3.
Please confirm that this is correct before continuing.

I need you guys help.
How to set this to solve this problem.

Have nice day!

Opaque will become famous soon enough
There are multiple reasons for this error.

1 - While in CFX-Pre, are the components aligned in a way that the both sides of the interface in question touch each other. If not, use a Mesh Transformation and rotate the component of interest to align as you need.

2 - If the components are aligned properly, are you certain the domain interface is defined correctly? Is the axis of the machine defined correctly? If not the matching algorithm cannot match both sides of the interface.

3 - Is there a large mismatch at the interface so that faces are further apart than you think? Zoom in to see if the faces on both sides touch (within reasonable range), or cross each other (typical of mesh issues)

Thanks your answer, Opaque

First, It's not problem about physics dimension of geometry.
After hearing your comment, I think that cause of this problem is mesh issues.

For TurboGrid, There is satisfied condition of mesh analysis(all sections) and for volute(scroll), is set below than 0.8 about skewness.

To my think, mesh is fine but, If i have a problem, tell me about that.

Thanks

Have a nice day.
