When i run a flotran analysis i get an error stating

Error attempting to backup unuseable results file check READ/WRITE permission . file.rfo

so what should i do to rectify this problem

and even if it runs the analysis i gives a strange error in the middle of the run stating

cannot able to retrieve flotran data object

any help regarding the problem would be appreciated

thanks in advance

this looks like a read/write permissions issue on your system. FLOTRAN will attempt to backup your results file as an *.rfo file, if you change something liek the mesh density etc.. Could this explain what you are seeing?

cheers,
