Heat exchanger with wood pellets inside

Hello
I have a rare problem to solve
This is heat exchager wit heating process of wood pellet.
I need to model a heat transfer over wood pellet (little granular shapes inside smaller tube .
Can anyone help me to define wood pellet
Have anyone sugestions about this problem ??
