Hey guys,

I'm currently analyzing a pressure distribution in a suction cup with ANSYS CFD but here is the problem. The inlet pressure is 100kPa and the outlet pressure is 70kPa but the simulation is saying that the pressure inside the cup will be like something GPa and I just can't find out what I have done wrong.
here are the result and the report. can you maybe help me with finding the problem? setting is in the pic and mesh was done by automatic mesh

Your simulation is diverging. If you have not got an overflow error yet, you soon will. Here is the FAQ on overflow errors: https://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Ansy...do_about_it.3F

Mesh quality is going to be a big contributor here. Also you probably will need a compressible flow model.

Your mesh is most likely garbage.
Where is your inlet at?
