Default CFX 10 User Sub Routine

Hi,

I try to use a user sub routine in CFX10. The same routine works in CFX5.7.1 very well. When I try to solve the problem there is an error message like: Error opening C:\Programme\Ansys Inc\CFX\Shared\winnt\hollowa.dll: Das angegebene Modul wurde nicht gefunden. (He can't find it). But I'am sure that the sub routine is in this folder. The same path in cfx5.7.1 an it works. Some ideas?

Regards

Claudia

Are you using the same definition file from 5.7.1? Try redefining this subroutine again and write a new definition file.

No, I am using a definition file from cfx10 but the entries belonging to the subroutine are still the same (copy & paste).

Redefine a subroutine, even a false one, through CFX-10 pre, and then examine the resulting CCL. The CCL syntax for defining the routine may have changed from one version to the next.

Thanks, but I found the problem with the help of the support. My routines work in mpich an after the installation of CFX 10 I had to add a path in the microsoft environmental variables. The problem was not, that the routines were not there but that the solver path was missing. So he couldn't find the routines because the path of the solver was wrong. I had something like that also with CFX 5.7.1 but there the error was clearly indidcated.

I think I have the same problem... I'd be glad to know where the path exactly should point.

In my case I had to add the following path: C:\Program Files\Ansys Inc\CFX\CFX-10.0\bin\winnt. It has to be added in the windows environmental variables as the last entry of the list. The path should be the one where you can find the solver-mpichnt.exe and the solver-pvm.exe

Hope it can help.
