Hello,

I am curious about how CFX solves the navier-stokes equation when simulating. I understand that different methods are used to approximate it like FDM, FEM and FVM. However, in this case I am simulating a radial compressor within ANSYS and wanted to know under which scenario is the flow been simulated. In other words, is the simulation taking into account properties (apart from viscosity and incompressible flow) like Non-uniform flow path of fluid along blade passages and tip leakage?

I am asking this because I want to understand what's missing between the actual CFX simulations and real-life scenarios.
