Dear friends
I have a question about adding a source term to cfx. I want to amplify the flow by f=A*exp(w*t) where A is the amplitude and w is the frequency. there is no flow injection just some waves are added in two small regions. do you know how I can do that in either CFX or Fluent? Best regards |

You need to think about what physically realistic process could generate the effect you want, and then you develop a source term to implement that process.
So maybe applying a force per unit volume over a region, and the force oscillates? Or maybe a region of fluid with its displacement defined to oscillate? Or a plate in the flow which oscillates and moves the fluid?
